Introduction to Flash We start by introducing you to basic Flash concepts, such as how to set your preferences, Flash development cycle and how to publish a file. Animation Principals Learning some key animation principals is essential to understanding Flash. You will learn about the KEYFRAME, what it is and how it is used. The KEYFRAME's companion, the TWEEN, is another term taken from traditional animation and you will learn what it is and how powerful it becomes in a Flash production. Flash ActionScript ActionScript is Flash native scripting language that is primarily used for Flash movies and event handling, such as buttons. We will teach you how to use the Script Assist to create ActionScripts for frames and buttons. Adding Sound and Video to Flash With Flash you can easily add both sound and video to your web site. We show you how to organize movie clips, use actions to control the timeline, changing sound properties and make use of the newly introduced FLVPlayback component.
