Tracking results Search Engine Optimization is not an exact science because it takes an unspecified time before website changes are picked up by major search engines. This is complicated by continual improvements in search engine technology. What might work one week may no longer work a few months later. In this class, students learn various ways to track results. Topics include environmental variable use, web log parsing, WebTrends and landing pages.
